ProWrestling.net is reporting that things to be settled between Awesome Kong and Bubba the Love Sponge after a meeting took place between her, Hulk Hogan, and Eric Bischoff. Kong asked for her release a couple of weeks ago and refused to work during TNA's UK tour despite being advertised. While they may have not granted her release, we are told that there are still some financial obstacles between Kong and TNA. According to various reports, Kong is said to be a little nervous when she noticed how much TNA was spending on newcomers and how the company can't afford to give raises to the talent already on the roster, especially the Knockouts.
