CM Punk-Hulk Hogan War of Words PDF Print

Well in wrestling, just like in any other venture, everyone wants to hear what people think of their competition.  This case is no different.

A few weeks ago, CM Punk was interviewed on the BJ Shea Morning Experience on 99.9 KISW (The Rock of Seattle).  The host asked Punk what he though about TNA signing Hulk Hogan and about Impact going head to head with Raw tonight.  Punk's response was less than complementary. Said the former three time World Heavyweight Champion...

"I really hope something comes of it, you know, honestly.  But I have zero faith in Hulk Hogan.  As a man who is, what 60 years old and tries to dress like he's 18 and he lives on the Jersey Shore.  And for a guy I never met, I've formulated enough opinions about him just from being around him and like, his business acumen and stuff like that, I really trust that he's not in this for TNA.  He's not in this for the business.  He's in this for himself."

Earlier today, Hogan was on the same show and responded to the criticism by saying...

"Well, you know, it's kind of like the law of attraction.  He's probably going to attract more of that negative stuff to his career,  you know?  Because if you're functioning on that level, that's probably what you're going to attract.  But at the end of the day, you know, I was selling out Madison Square Garden when that kid was pooping in his diapers.  So, you know, you're going to see what I'm all about."

Hogan added that he doesn't have a contract to wrestle for TNA and is there to run the organization.  He also said at the end of this night, the wrestling world will see who's right, Hogan or Punk.
