– We are sad to report that former Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Rod Steele has passed away. Multiple sources report that he passed from a self inflicted wound.

Ohio Valley Wrestling posted the following on statement on their Facebook page: “Ohio Valley Wrestling is sad to announce the

untimely passing of former Heavyweight Champion Rod Steele. We wish to send our condolences to the family and friends of the former legend.”
